When we first saw this product, Katie from Little Big Sports and I just knew that we had to make them available to our community. Boys and girls, men and women should all make sure that they can be seen when out at night to prevent accidents and these reflective scrunchies from BlisSKraft are a stylish way for girls to add to their visibility.

Let’s face it, we’re out in the dark for lots of reasons other than sport: walking to and from school or the school bus, walking the dog, popping round to your friend’s house. There are lots of reasons and these reflective scrunchies will help you be seen in all these scenarios.

The Story behind BlisSKraft
Sophie and her mum Karen are based in Bath, England and the story of the scrunchies starts with disaster.
In January 2024, Bath saw some of the worst flooding for nearly 10 years. Sadly, Karen’s home was affected: furniture and clothing, personal photographs and treasured memories were destroyed as well as much of her online marketplace stock. Her online shop had to close. The whole experience was devastating and had a huge impact on Karen.
Karen always liked to keep her hands busy making things. Crochet was her specialty, blankets mostly as well as teddies for the children and grandchildren of family and friends. She was very skilled with a sewing machine, even intricately and skillfully mending her daughter Sophie’s wedding dress three days before the big day.
Sophie was thinking about how to improve her mum’s situation and suggested starting a family business where Karen could create her crochet goods and between them they could make hair scrunchies from end of line fabrics and recycled materials, such as scarves and dresses. The business had the desired effect: when Karen started creating, it helped take her mind off the terrible things that had happened to their home and business. It gave her something to be excited about and have purpose again!
Fast forward nearly three years and they have created BlisSKraft Scrunchies! They specialise in reflective scrunchies, helping women stay seen and safe in the darker months.
Alongside the reflective scrunchies, they also manufacture coloured-fabric scrunchies which are great for completing a team’s look.

Are reflective scrunchies just for girls being sporty?
They are great for girls at sports practice. They are reflective under lights to help girls be seen in the dark. But they’re not just for sports practice.
